The Nogales Juniors began state play against Tempe South Monday night but the game was halted in the bottom of the fourth due to bad weather. Play resumes today at 5:30 p.m., with Nogales up 8-2.
In state Seniors action on Monday at War Memorial Stadium in Nogales, D-9 won 20-3 over D-5 and D-12 took a 24-0 victory over D-11.
The Rio Rico Minors also play CDO today at 5 p.m. in state action, while the Nogales Majors play D-6 today at 5:30 p.m.
Nogales’ Seniors also play D-3 today at 5 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium in Nogales, while Nogales’ Intermediates start the West Regional Tournament at Fleischer Park on Thursday versus Nevada at 7:30 p.m.
