The East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance has organized a gubernatorial forum featuring several Republican candidates for office on July 28.
The free forum, scheduled to run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Chandler-Gilbert Community College’s performing arts center, will include five people running to become Arizona’s next governor. The candidates are former Mesa Mayor Scott Smith, Secretary of State Ken Bennett, former GoDaddy.com Executive Christine Jones, former Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas, and ex-Congressman Frank Riggs.
A meet-and-greet with the candidates is scheduled for 5:45. and Chandler-Gilbert Community College is located at 2626 E. Pecos Road in Chandler.
