Huskers earn first sand victory at Arizona State
TEMPE, Ariz. — The Nebraska sand volleyball team posted a 3-2 victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils on Wednesday afternoon in Tempe, Ariz., marking the Huskers’ first dual win of the 2014 season.
In a closely-contested match, Nebraska’s No. 1 squad of Justine Wong-Orantes and Melanie Keil helped propel NU to the win with a three-set (16-21, 21-16, 15-11) defeat of Bianca Arellano and Bethany Jorgensen.
